Soap is soap is soap, right?

Well, not exactly. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) definition of “soap” states it must be a combination of fats or oils with an alkali such as lye. Most soaps, both bar and liquid, are made of synthetic ingredients, so they don’t actually meet the definition of soap. Natural soaps are made from natural ingredients like plant-based vegetable oil, herbs and spices. Commercial soaps contain chemicals and synthetic ingredients that can irritate your skin over time.

Your skin comes into contact with toxins daily. On top of the dirt and bacteria it touches, skin also absorbs any chemicals in the soaps you use to bathe.

Bars of soap are often misrepresented as dirty, harbouring germs and bacteria but this is not true. The high pH levels in natural soap bars actually make it harder for germ to fester.

Our bar soaps, cleansers and moisturizers hydrate the skin, help keep it firm and reduce signs of aging. So, lather up with creamy bubbles and nutrient rich balms... Get some Sudz N Rubz!!!
